Muay thai · On your heavy bag

Turn any heavy bag into a coach that measures.

Kai Muay calls the class, counts and measures every strike — punches, kicks, knees and elbows — and tells you whether you passed. Your phone on the bag. Nothing to buy.

Three things

01

It measures the bag, not your hand.

The bag is what takes the hit; a wrist sensor only infers it. Your phone rides on the bag and reads the strike itself.

02

Real muay thai.

43 techniques, 25 classes, kicks and knees measured, the Thai names. A practitioner’s syllabus, not a workout generator.

03

Nothing to buy.

The phone you already have, or the old one in the drawer. No sensors, no hardware subscription.

How it works

  1. Mount the phone on the bag

above where you hit, in a case or a strap. The sensors do the rest.

  2. Pick the class

and the coach’s voice calls every round: the combo, the pace, the rest.

  3. Hit

and every strike is counted and measured. At the end, the class tells you if you passed.

What it does

The Path

A whole class, not loose rounds.

Twenty-six classes in four levels, from the stance to the elbow. The coach’s voice takes you from the warm-up to the final circuit: the technique, the bag with a script, the bag on your own, the conditioning. Pass one, the next one opens.

The Path: the list of classes by level, with the ones passed, the ones to repeat and the one that is up next.

Today

Open the app and you know what is up.

The class of the day, how many rounds, how long, whether it is measured. And on the other days, the bag is still yours: a timer with your own rounds, the rope that counts jumps and sets, or free style, hitting and measuring with no script.

Techniques

Every strike, explained.

Forty-three technique cards with the Thai name, how it is done, the key points, and the mistakes almost everyone makes with their correction. The first levels come with a video, at the minute that matters. The card is a review: the class is where you learn it.

A technique card: long guard, with its description and key points.

The grade

And it grades you.

How many strikes landed of those that were called, how far you drifted from the pace, how fast you reacted, and how hard you hit, in g. By round, by side, by technique. The bag decides whether you passed: landing and steadiness, and a single miss never rules.

  • Landed
  • Steadiness
  • Reaction
  • Power in g
A session in detail: landed 86 %, steadiness, reaction, cadence and power, and the chart round by round.

Progress

See yourself improve.

Every session stays: how many you have done, your best strike, your streak in weeks — because a plan of three sessions a week should not break for resting — and the maximum power session after session.

  • History
  • Your best
  • Streak in weeks
Progress: sessions, your best strike, weeks of streak, and the chart of maximum power over the last sessions.

Reminders

It reminds you at your time, on your days.

The app works out from your own sessions when you usually train and tells you which class is due, never two days in a row, and it goes quiet if you stop. All of it calculated on your phone. It switches off in Settings.

Privacy

Nothing leaves your phone.

No account, no server, no internet permission. What the sensors record stays on your phone; the only thing that ever leaves is what you export yourself.
